We've been to WDW 4 times in the past 3 years but we never planned out our trip in advance. As a result, each time we left we felt as if we didn't get to do everything we wanted to do. So now we're going again the last week in August. I want this trip to be planned. We want to hit the highlights in the parks and also get to spend a lot of time at the resorts. Dh also wants to squeeze golf in there as well. So this is the first draft of my my trip plan. Please give opinions if it seems reasonable. We have 2 dc's ages 7 and 4.
Day1-Arrive mid day on a Tues. check into the Y.C. and spend the afternoon at the pool. In the evening, head over to the Boardwalk for dinner and entertainment.
Day2- Dh and ds head out for an early t-time(9 hole) while dd and I go to the princess storybook breakfast. then DD and I will wait for the "boys" at the pool. When the guys get back we'll head over to Epcot where we'll ride a few rides and spend the evening at WSC where we'll have dinner at either Germany or Canada. Watch Illuminations and go back to resort.
Day3- Wake up and go straight to M.K.(possibly try to squeeze the kid pirate cruise in there) After a day hitting the hightlights at the MK-head over to Hoop De Doo -we've never done this!
Day4-Spend relaxing morning at the pool and boardwalk. Mid day head over to MGM and go to Fantasmic Dinner Show at night-another thing we've never done!
Day5-Dh plays golf-18 holes-while kids and I hang out at pool. Drop kids off at Sandcastle Club at 4ish and Dh and I go out to a nice dinner followed by drinks somewhere on the Boardwalk.
Day6- Check out of Y.C. and head back to either MGM,Epcot or MK-whichever one we feel we still want to see more of. When we're tired we go to AKL and check-in. Explore the resort and take a dip in the pool. Eat somewhere in AKL
Day 7- Go to AK for the day. Possible put the kids in the kids club there if they're up for it and dh and I go to dinner. Or we all have early dinner together and early to bed.
Day8- Go home
Please tell me what you think.
