does this sound like a good/realistic food budget?

That's the info I wanted so im thinking of signing up two days before we leave. Because its a printable coupon right?

I'll be honest i cant remember if it was printable or not but they sent me a an email with the barcode to show from your phone. Im assuming you can just print the email and it will be the same. I'm not one of these people that say you need to cheat the system and print out 20 coupons with 20 fake email addresses but I would consider maybe twice.... More money for booze!

I think your revised budget (with your bumped up amount due to sales tax) looks great. It looks like plenty of food to me since you'll have breakfast covered in the room.

The only suggestion I would make is to consider ordering vegetables as a side instead of fries wherever possible (I don't consider potatoes a vegetable) since none of your meals appear to have fruit or vegetables. One day of that is probably fine, but after a couple of days you might start to feel crummy without nutrients from veggies. Maybe also being along a few pieces of whole fruit (easy to pack) for snacks or to go along with meals.

Other than adding in some veggies & fruit, your plan looks just fine if your chosen meals are what you like to eat! :)

for those of you that seems to think i'm lacking in nutrition... disney world is a place i let loose at.
i don't eat like that every day.
in fact i generally never have dessert unless for a special occasion.
also consider this... my father owns a VEGETABLE farm.
i enjoy home grown tomatoes, butternut squash, zucchini, eggplant, green beans, corn, collie flower, broccoli ....
and since some are concerned about my "digestive problems" i'll have you know that most of them actually come from VEGETABLES so when i have veggies at WDW that is when i tend to have an upset stomach one way or another.
at least at home i'm a few feet away from a restroom and can go whenever i need to.
as for fruit at home i eat a banana or several pieces of pineapple each morning.
i did not recall asking for advice or in some cases criticism about my food choices.
i just asked about BUDGET.
the only reason i put my food choices down in the first place was to show what i was getting for the money.
i figured if i did not do that people would post that they did not know whether it was a good budget because they did not know how much food i was getting for the money and that would have been a valid point.

OP, if you ask people for advice and comment on your plan they will do that and a lot more. That's a fact of life on the disboards and in real life. You can't put limits around advice as much as you would like to. Just take it all in and then make your own choices. And don't feel like you ever need to justify your decisions unless someone else is paying the bill. The more you try to explain, the more information you give others that they use to argue against you. As an adult people will not always agree with the decisions you make, but they have no right to critique them unless you allow it.

Wow, you've been so rude over and over after asking for opinions! I was offering my opinion on the fact that you should consider throwing in veggies with your meals to not feel sluggish from all of the empty carbs, not demeaning you or criticizing your food choices.

If you already knew what meals you were going to order and the price of each meal, there was nothing for people to advise over...it is what it is. Of course it's enough food...you're having breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Not sure what advice you wanted.

did i specifically refer to you?
i was actually more referring to others that were not so nice about their posts.

the point i'm trying to make is that i asked about budget not the dietary nutrition of my choices and some people were very critical of my choices.
personally i like to answer the question at hand and not give unsolicited advice about something that was not asked.
and it seems like whenever i ask a question i get only a select few that actually want to answer my question and most others want to analyze everything i said and post snarky comments about portions of my question.

i guess i should get used to it because as someone pointed out thats just the way of the DIS.

I don't know why you continue to post here on the dis. People are always offering you helpful advise and you always have a reason why it won't work for you and get argumentive.

I have to admit that I'm wondering why you even asked for advice, when you seem to be set on what you want to do, and already know the prices on everything. Also, many of your comments are reading snarky to me, so maybe that is why you are getting snarky comments back.

Remember the thread where she was selling the computer?

I was wondering the same thing. Other than checking her math, given all the rules of what we are not "allowed" to comment on, I don't see any point.
