We are planning on going to WDW 5/20/07-5/25/07. Called Disney yesterday & the only thing left for a family of 5 is All Star Music or Pop Century in the value-moderate resorts. The deal would include 5 day passes for everyone with a free upgrade to park hoppers + 4 free passes per person for the fun & more. This would include 2 adjoining rooms. The price quoted to me was $1997. Does this sound reasonable to everyone or should I keep looking ? ?

Yep, that sounds about right. The resorts you mentioned are both values, though; not moderate.

And the upgrade to the park hoppers/water parks is pretty good indeed!

The price sounds good.

Be sure to ask for ask for connecting rooms.
Connecting rooms have an inside door connecting the 2 rooms.
Adjoining just means next to each other.

Is this for 5 nights?
Based on my research, 5 nights, 2 rooms in value resort during regular season is around $1000 plus taxes...
5 park hopper passes for 5 days is about $250pp; but I'm guessing the 4 passes
pp is for water parks & more, which is about $260pp.
SOOOOO based on this estimate, they are saving you about $250...which does about cover the extra cost of hoppers plus water parks.
This deal costs Disney nothing, so it is a good perk for them to offer.

If you join AAA (aroun $50/yr), you should get a 15% or so discount. To book the 2 value rooms during regular season plus 5 REGULAR passes should run you about $1700. If you truly want the hopper passes/water park passes, then Disney is giving you about the same deal AAA could...though you don't get the AAA membership.

We are going the beginning of May and for a family of 3, we got 6 nights/7 days at Pop Century. 5 days tickets with Park Hopper and Water Park deal
for $1450.00 total, tax included.

I called this morning & booked the 13-18th of May @ Pop Century. After reading the last post I'm not sure it's such a good deal though. We got two connecting rooms for 5 nights /6 days, park hopper passes (free upgrade) & 5-5 day tickets to the water parks & disney quest for $2232. DU quoted me 2690 for the same deal but could not guarantee connecting rooms. Do you guys think this sounds reasonable ?

You must have gotten something extra off other than free upgrade on tickets.
I have a reservation on hold at the ASports preferred room for May 30-June4.
wh/ is 5 nights/9days tickets w/ free upgrade for 2A and 2A(teenages)...
my price is for 1 room is $2323.24.
I realize mine is during summer and yours is regular season and mine is a preferred room----but you have 2 rooms and an extra person!!!! and it is still $90 less mine....
I think I need to redo the disney math.
I have checked it online and mine is exactly the same as online except I get the free hopper and water parks fun additionally.
Your deal sounds great to me!!!! I would be happy with it.
