Does this sound doable for EE on Mon. the 25th?

We arrive about 30 minutes prior to opening and head straight to Peter Pan twice. Then we'll do Dumbo, Mr. Toad, Snow White, Pinocchio, Alice, and dh and 3 year old might do Matterhorn before heading to TTM at 8:00. Can we fit this all in? Is there a better order for the rides?

Peter Pan 2x
Dumbo
Alice
Matterhorn
Toad's
Pinocchio
Snow White.

Would be my order. I assume you are not doing the teacups or the carousel because you left em out. It's doable. But as always, keep an eye on time.

The list assumes everything is of equal importance. From your post, I get the impression that the Matterhorn is of lesser importance. If that is the case, I might move it to the end of the list even though that isn't the most efficient spot. Then you could do it if there's some spare time and skip it if there isn't.

I'm pg so I can't ride the matterhorn and dh isn't a rollercoaster fan, but if our 3 year old by some chance wants to ride it he said he would ride it with him. That's why I had it at the end.

Just remember that they have the snow monster (yeti) in there. DH took my then 3 year old in there and he avoids the entire mountain area to this day. It is known as the "Scary ride".

I think they'll probably end up skipping that ride. That would help alot with getting most of Fantasyland done during EE. Does my order of doing the rides sound okay? At 8:00 we'll be heading to TTMadness and then come back out into Fantasyland to finish up. Maybe our three year old can start out on Gadget's rollercoaster.

No no, that's not a "snow monster". It's Harold, the Yeti. He's making snow cones and offering them to you. If he makes a loud "roar" he's just saying hello, and the polite thing to do is roar back or yell "Hi Harold!"

(This worked with our kids every time!) :thumbsup2

:lmao: That's so cute! Shows you what us parents have to do to get them on a ride (which they end up usually LOVING afterwards!).

Pretty much the same order as I would do it.

That's our same order, as well, except ds makes us put Toad in front of Alice. We can't walk past Toad without going on it, so we hit it right after Dumbo. We also hit the teacups right after Matterhorn, and still typically walk right on each and every ride (this is off-season, mind you).

Harold, the snow cone making monster scares the ____ out of me! I still haven't take my 5 year old on the Matterhorn, but she's been on Space, Splash, and BTMRR. I'd skip it. LOL.

I'd also think twice about Snow White. That ride scares a lot of kids.

Definitely go to Alice before Snow White/Pinocchio. It often gets lines almost as long as Peter Pan. Snow White/Pinocchio are usually less than 15 minutes at any point throughtout the day.

I agree that this is THE order to attack EE. A few thoughts:

- I would only do PP once (to avoid getting clogged at Dumbo or Alice), but if a long line hasn't formed yet at PP (or Dumbo - which is a few steps away) & you are one of the first families to get to PP, then you can do it 2X.

- DLR 29 (above) is correct. We were there this week - Monday & Tuesday, & after PP, Alice started stacking up the quickest & is a slow loader. PP/Dumbo/Alice should be done in order & (imo) as early as possible. After 15 - 20 minutes, they're mobbed.

- Matterhorn & Toadie should be next. (but Toadie was shut down for refurb. on Monday & Tuesday...thankfully we had read about it, and took a delightful Sunday Drive with that wacky Toad prior to him being taken down on Monday...don't know how long the refurb is).

- Tea Cups, Pinocchio, the Carousel, & especially Snow White were walk on all during EE & should be after the 6 mentioned above.

- Finally I personally believe it's important to nab a SM or Indy FP for the family the first couple of minutes after grand opening (for us it was 9am). Nothing better than having headliner FPs in your pocket the second that DL opens up to the public. :thumbsup2

Jacobsmommy,
Just wanted to say "hi":wave2: . I have subscribed to 2 of your threads, that could have been written by me. You see, we are also doing EE on June 25, and we are also travelling with an (almost) 3 year old cross country and need ideas to occupy him on the plane!
Maybe we'll run into each other first thing in the morning on June 25 at Peter Pan!!!

Have a great trip!!!!
