Does this seem right? ap & fl rates

We are going April 16th-19th, so 3 nights. The first night fell under PEAK season, so we got CR standard view for $174 a night. I was told to call back for the other 2 nights once new codes came out for ap and fl rates. I called back today and told the lady the situation. She looks it up and says there are no Fl rates available for standard view. So I said could you please check for ap rate, she didn't even look and said that Fl and Ap rates were the same and if Fl showed no available rooms, then Ap wouldn't either. I'm confused. So was she saying that with new codes, they didn't MAKE any ap or fl rates available for standard rooms? Or was she trying to tell me that Fl rates were gone and because they were then the ap were too? Also, she said that under Fl rate, we could get Garden wing for $214 plus tax. Well under PEAK season Fl rate, I coud have gotten Garden wing for $199 plus tax!!! I thought the regular season rates would be better then PEAK?!?!? Should i call back?

I would call back and see what someone else has to say. I have learned to always call back when getting told no or it's not available.

That might explain the strange message at the bottom of my advance AP notice email I got yesterday. It said they were announcing AP discounts a day early.....but at the bottom it said something like: These discounts will be available tomorrow to non-passholders (meaning today). I don't have the exact wording, but assumed they meant FL residents. So sounds like the group of discounted rooms are all coming from one cluster of rooms. Not positive, but it sure would explain the message on the email yesterday.

The last line of the AP advance-notice email (which I received at 10:39:39 am yesterday - for all the good that didi me) actually says:

Offer will also be made to certain non-passholders in other select promotions.
