$500 - 3 nights in a Studio at Beach Club Villas
$260 - 2 nights in a Studio at Boardwalk Villas
$390 - 5 nights of Disney Dining Plan for 2 Adults (BCV & BWV stays)
$427 - 2 nights in a Downtown Disney View/King Bed at The Hilton
$240 - 2 nights in a Studio at Old Key West
$235 - 9 days for Rental Car
$354 - Tickets for 2 Adults to Universal, IOA, Wet n Wild, & Seaworld

$2406 Total

And then we also have to figure in...food for the days we don't have the Disney Dining Plan, food for the days we go to non Disney Parks, Souvenirs, etc.

We have Disney Annual Passes so we won't have to buy tickets.

Does it sound like a good deal?

That seems like too much moving around to me. I would try to combine the first 5 nights at either BCV or BWV instead of splitting the stay. Then I would scrap the Hilton and change that to something else. Maybe combine those last 4 nights together at a moderate resort or one of the cheaper deluxe resorts. So it would be something like 5 nights at BCV and 4 nights at AKL. Or 5 nights at BWV and 4 at POFQ. Then you only have 2 resorts instead of 4.

The dining plan is going to be $390 no matter where you stay because that is a set price.

") I am exhausted just imagining all that moving around...I like the previous posters suggestion...2 resorts......

Price wise it sounded just OK but logistically it sounds like a nightmare. WHY would you want to change hotels so much?

Pricewise sounds good! I agree with other posters though i wouldnt want to move around that often!

But if thats what you want it sounds like a good deal!

I'm guessing they are doing this because of availability. The Hilton is probably for the weekend because DVC points are too high. Then they are doing studios on points the other nights. (that's my guess anyway)

Yes, we are doing this because of availability. We have never stayed at BCV or BWV and we were only able to book those certain nights through a DVC Member. Also, we are staying at the Hilton because it is a Friday and Saturday night and is a good deal compared to other DVC Resorts on the weekends. We have a rental car and don't mind hotel switching. We just started planning this month so none of the DVC resorts were available for all the days of our stay which is 9 nights. The pricing was just way too good to not book them!! The most we are paying for a DVC resort is $166/night at the BCV which is unbelievable!!

Yeah, when you're up against the wall like that you have to take what you can get with DVC. I think you did pretty good considering you just booked this month! ;) Have a great trip!!!

price sound good but the real question is why would u want to change resorts that much

I don't know how the DDP works for the DVC resorts. Can you get it for all of those nights, even though you are switching resorts. At non-DVC stays it would require 2 packages and 2 tickets.
DVC must be different????
I too would not want to switch resorts so much. I like to settle in and relax when I travel.

Yes, the OP probably already knows but for the benefit of those who don't :teeth: Guests staying at DVC properties and 'paying' for the stay(s) using DVC points can purchase the Disney Dining Plan without having to book a package or buy park passes. Arrangements need to be made in advance, via Member Services - so if you're renting points, you can't call yourself, the point-owner has to do it for you. They book, you pay when you check in. There's still the "all persons on the reservation for all nights of the stay" restriction - but the OP has that covered.

editorial opinion: I understand why the OP is doing all that moving around but - having done something similar on two recent trips, and if I had the option (very important disclaimer), I'd stay put as much as possible.

eta: Hmm… another thought – check the USF/IOA and the SeaWorld websites. Universal right now has that $85+tax seven-day ticket, and unless things have changed, SeaWorld allows you to upgrade your one-day admission to seven consecutive days before you leave the park on your first day, at no additional cost. I don’t have access to the ticket prices, but it seems you might save money buying those tickets separately.

I totally understand what you are all saying about switching Resorts so much. It's not something we prefer to do, but since we just started looking and booking this month, there wasn't much we could do about DVC availability. We are young and own a business so we tend to just sneak away and head to Disney a few times a year when it's convenient. The only bad thing about last mintute planning is the Resort hopping, but hey we will take what we can get.

As for the person who posted about buying US/IOA/Seaworld tickets separetely, that price I have listed is for buying separately. US/IOA is like around $86/pp right now, we can get discount Wet n Wild tickets for $33/pp and we are getting Seaworld tickets for $52/pp. We only planning on staying at those parks 1 day each since we are more of Disney goers but are lucky enough to have a longer stay this time so we're going to visit other parks as well.

For all of you going to Seaworld...go to Southwest.com and sign up for the Rewards card. It's absolutely free to do....and the best part, you can save up to 20% off Seaworld Admission at the Gate. (We are saving $12.99/pp on our tickets, so that's a BIG plus!!)
