Does this meal plan sound reasonable??

We're going to WDW for our first trip at the end of May. We're doing the 3-Land/4-Sea Cruise package and we're staying at AKL. We have done some reading and research and have decided that for our family (me, DH and 7 yo DS), the buffets seem to be the best option. We're going to spend our first day at MK, our second day will be at EPCOT (perhaps a hop to MGM) and our third day will be at AK. Does this sound reasonable??

Day 1: Character Dinner at Crystal Palace
Day 2: Dinner at Restaurant Akershus
Day 3: Donald's Breakfastosaurus AND dinner at Boma
Day 4: Breakfast at Boma before heading to the port...

The rest of our meals will be counter service/snacks on the fly.

However make sure not ot eat too much on the day of your cruise...

Leave some space in your tummy for the delicious buffet they will serve on board the ship as soon as you get there. I 'd go for something really light and make sure I'm really hungry for that.....Why spend more money than you have to? Plus, that buffet on board the ship....You did pay for it after all!!!!

It does sound like a good plan. However, that is a lot of buffets. Remember to pace yourselves so that you don't eat too much and you don't get sick of it, too.

If we drop anything it will be the Donald's Breakfastosaurus. While I am definitely a morning person, DH takes A LOT longer to get going. DS has two speeds, asleep and FAST. Having one large meal at the end of the day typically works well for us.

As for Boma on the last day, we may decide to grab something light instead and "save ourselves" for the ship.

I figure it is better to book too much and cancel than to get there and be disappointed because we couldn't get in anywhere for a sit down meal!
