Does this makes sense on Mine train FP availability?

I went on to do my FP selection today for 11/27-12/1 (checking in 11/26). I figured FOP would be tough and yup definitely didn't get it. Having ridden it before it will be worth a bit of a wait.

So i move on to Mine train -- even out as far as 60+5 there is nothing - not any time of day. I am only looking for 3 people so not a large party. Anticipated touring plans has crowd levels very low. We went during a school vacation in April with higher crowds and there was no trouble getting what we wanted. I am guessing that because of the MVMCP and shorter park hours it is really pushing up the demand for 7DMT.

I'll keep checking in case something pops up, but has anyone else encountered this too?

I was able to get almost everything, including FOP and SD. 7DMT was the only one I had trouble getting on one of my MK days.

So is that 60+5, as in Saturday 12/1?

I’m just throwing things out there... but could be the influence of a holiday Saturday in the midst of a heavy MVMCP season. There are MVMCPs the two days before and the day following. For those that want a full park day with nightime entertainment, they’re going to likely circle that Saturday.

Also the current 9am-9pm hours likely aren’t helping much either - shorter supply of hours for FP booking. MK hours that same Saturday last year ended up being 8am-12am. Keep an eye on hours changes as more FPs will be added, people will change plans, etc.

I guess if you’re date isn’t that Saturday, then the above is N/A!

How far out were those FP from check in?

The one I was unable to get was 60+2.

I was able to get 7DMT on 60+4 and 60+6.

FOP was 60+5 and 7
SDD was 60+8

I got 7DMT 60+1 no issue (evening FP).

The XMAS party cuts into a ton of fast passes that week. Sun/Tue/Thur/Fri MK closes at 6pm for non party guests.

Yeah, I think it must be the influence of the party. I’ve seen more 7DMT FP problem posts over the last week or so than I remember in recent times.

I was unable to get 7DMT for our upcoming October trip. I also their was odd. I haven’t had trouble getting it on our previous trips. Looking on the bright side as this will be the first time we see the standby que

Do MK on days there is a party, the days there aren't are nuts.

When I selected mine (going 10/31 - 11/5) SDD wasn't available, but had a few choices for FOP. I didn't even try for 7DMT because I had reservations for EMM at MK. About a week later, I was tweaking our fps and noticed quite a few choices for 7DMT, so I ended up getting Mine Train, PP and another fp and canceled the EMM. I imagine they added more passes, so keep checking.
