I kinda feel silly. We've been engaged since 2005 for financial reasons so I guess being engaged and the idea of getting married never felt real until recently.

I've been looking at PJs, TRs and wedding things since then but now I'm finding recently that I start crying at the computer like a dork! It happens like this --> I mean, I guess I see why I'm starting to get all emotional about it but does this happen to anyone else?? I especially lose it at the TRs where they post pictures of the ceremony and write what they were thinking/doing at that moment.

I called MoH about it today and of course, I'm cracking up about it while I'm telling her and we had such a nice laugh over it. It's like, just the weirdest bunch of emotions ever.

Not silly at all! This happened to me all the time. I'd start sniffling over videos of girls I'd never met because I'd gotten to know them on the Boards. Also, I think when you're going through the same experience (getting engaged and married), the empathy level deepens.

I'm another Disbride. I even wanted to cry when I went to see 27 dresses! Erik definitely thinks I've lost it.

While we're talking about weird bridal phenomena has anyone else been having issues with memory???????? I can't keep anything in my brain for more then a few minutes these days! I've heard of pregnancy brain (my friends term because her memory was horrible while pregnant) but is there such a thing as bridal brain? I even left the oven on the other day and got a huge lecture from DF! And my mom just asked me how old am I because I tried to call her back because I forget to tell her something but I had already forgotten it already when she picked up! Sorry to the topic just curious if the two go hand in hand?

I am a MOB and with all of the emotions that come with giving your daughter away, I bet I outcry you all put together! My DD has a section on her PJ all about my tearfulness these days!

Put that together with all of the wonderful moments you ladies share with us, and my DH quite often leaves the room when he sees me reach for the laptop, lest he be forced to relive every moment you all have experienced, and cry along with, or else!

Not sure about the memory loss, I'm a geezer and forget most things anyway! I'll have to ask my princess !!

Hi me too! Sobb city when I read these boards especially TR's about the wonderful weddings and seeing the videography from the day of and all
I just hope I can hold my composure on my own day. My goal is to not completely lose it when saying my vows.
