Does this FP plan at AK sound do-able

Ok- we only have 1/2 day for AK this time around. We aren't doing FOP. My plan so far is:

Rope drop- straight to Everest, ride once or twice.... over to
Kil. Safari which we have fast pass for 9:25-10:25... hope to be done by 10:25/10:30, over to
Fest Lion King which we have fast pass for lining up 10:30-10:45, show at 11:00, then over to
Na'Vi River Journey have fast pass at 12:00-1:00

With Pandora open, we're hoping we can do Everest twice right off the bat, then I'm not sure if I'm leaving enough time to get over to Safari and time for ride to be over before Lion King lion up.... last question- I have a fast pass for Lion King but is it needed? Would I be better off changing it? Only reason I did FP is cause we're going the day after T-giving when crowds are higher.

Yeah, I think we could do this (even if it means Everest 1x and not 2)...but I'm worried it may be cutting TOO close.

That's a lot of backtracking around the park. Why not do Safari first thing in the morning (you won't need a fast pass because most people will be going to Pandora). I would cancel the FP for Lion King, you usually don't need one for a show. Have a FP for Everest waiting for you if you don't want to use single rider. Use your third fast pass for another ride, or to do Safari again before you leave the park.

I think you can definitely do this. Remember that AK has been letting people in early, so you can be through the turnstiles and back in the EE area 10-15 minutes before normal opening. You may not get on the ride early, but you can be in the area ready to queue up. . Since most people are in Pandora, you can ride twice in a short amount of time.

With the busy day, it will just be easier with a FP at Lion King. May not be needed. What you could do is cancel it when you get to the area if the line is not too long. If you are on Safari by 10:00, you will right in the area and can be at LK by around 10:30-40. Your FP strategy may work better to use all your FP by noon, and then try to get a 4th. OF course, during the busy time, the only passes open may be Tough to Be a Bug.

LK is done around 11:30. By this time, the connecting trail to get to Pandora should be open. You will be early for Navi, but there is plenty to see in the area.

Thanks for all the feedback so far! Yeah, I wasn't going to FP Lion King show, but it's my daughter's favorite and with it being day after T-giving I thought better safe than sorry... We want to hit Everest, Safarai, Lion King and Navi for sure, then are going to Disney Springs so we prob wouldn't end up using a 4th fast pass at AK even if we got lucky to get one... (My DD, even at 17, is still slightly creeped out by TTBabug, LOL)....

I was trying to plan it to minimize backtracking, (since it's such a big park) and did think about hitting the safari first and doing FP for Everest instead after, but then we'd just have to go back to Africa afterward to hit the Lion King, plus Navi is past Africa heading toward exit when we're done, right? I may need to look at a park map, because I don't want to have it backward, but I thought going straight to Asia for Everest, over to Africa for Safari then LK, and end at Navi before leaving was avoiding backtracking? I'm not as familiar with AK layout as other parks so I can look at map to make sure, or someone let me know if I'm getting this park backward in my head.... :)

you are correct - it is not that much back tracking. Safari is very near Lion King, and Navi is down the trail from LK.

You will basically make 1 loop

Yeah, that was going to be my advice too!

I think your plan is very doable. So many of the crowds are going direct to Pandora, EE should be easy to ride twice first thing. Make sure to get there early enough if they open up earlier to take advantage! At least you won't need to get there 90 min before opening like the FoP crowd will need to! Then over to Safari, hopefully crowds are still stuck in Pandora so you won't have a wait.

Good luck! And I hope you have fun!
