Does this Disney budget sound doable???

Gas looks like high-we made the trip from PA and did a round trip plus the week and we spent $250 on gas. We took my older Avalon. I would skip BBB-$400 is a lot of money for a couple hours of entertainment if that. Your going out to eat budget will only last you about three sit down meals. Food is really expensive at Disney. I also just say no to the souvenirs.

I get around 18mpg in town in my van. My husband just wanted me to calculate extra. It will take about 5 tanks (a little less than) just to get there and back. It MIT be better. I don't do much interstate driving, so I can't say for sure. DH just wanted to be safe with the calculations. I'm sure our groceries won't actually cost that much. I usually only spend $150/week at home. He is once again just trying to be safe.

The $300 for eating out is just for whenever we feel like eating something different or for snacks in the park. We probably won't really eat meals in Disney at all. It's not worth it for how our girls eat. The ticket price is based on the place we booked through. We booked our villa and tickets through an employee discount program and did so before the prices increased. They said we would be guaranteed the price we booked under.

I'm still stressing about BBB. If it's $250, that will be around $500 total. Both girls are doing it. I really just want to order their dresses. I'll have to work on the hubby.

So 1.i think your budget is fine!!!

2) The qs restaurants in the parks IMO are very reasonable. If you can bring PBJs even better if not it is more than reasonable. But Disney is more reasonable inside than even US. It runs about 25$ for 4 for a hungry meal and can squish out 15 ish if we share a few on a hot day. Things like 1 meal of a 1/2 chicken pot n Vegis with a dessert yogurt is enough for me and both my dds I think it runs maybe 9/10$. (Sunny eclipse) or a taco salad for me a burger for dh and a kids meal along again for the 4 of us to share total cost about 20$

3) bbb is the hair/ make up and glitter whether the dress was 60$ or 25 $ changes nothing. It is a fun experience, but with 2 girls and a budget I'd be hard pressed to say it is a value at 500$ (even if you got it for 300 for 2 girls I'd still say same thing). So sorry agree with other posters. You could get hair/ makeup package, bring dresses and get a lunch at crystal palace to celebrate cheaper. :(
