I've learned to look past the punctuations and to the message. I think I would lose out on so many great subjects if I let .,;"- get to me.

Plus, I like using ... -- I use them all the time

They should have DIS-check before we can post...then none wood have any problems with any thing that they mite right on this forum. Every one wood bee okay since they're posts have been checked for any grammar issues that wood possibly cause distress to fell oh posters.

Question: Is Ellipses the plural of Ellipsis?

Also, just to clarify, I'm NOT anti-ellipsis! Strategically placed, they are a lovely form of punctuation that I am inclined to use myself. I was referring to posts who use ellipses as their ONLY form of punctuation. Meaning posts that are 10-12 sentences long with an ellipsis between EVERY sentence. No periods, no question marks, etc.

I'm sure the authors of these posts are wonderful people. Maybe it's not their fault. Maybe their keyboards are tweaked. Maybe the exclamation and question mark keys are broken, and if they press the period key it malfunctions and automatically re-presses itself several times in rapid succession, creating uncontrollable ellipses. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Everyone's different writing styles don't bother me much. I figure as long as you are getting the point across, what difference does it make. I think it's the same as a person's accent or regional dialect when speaking.

For instance I am from the Pacific Northwest and one thing that I say a lot is "it's pouring down the rain". That get's some real strange looks from people that are from other parts of the country. But if you live here, where it's pouring down the rain a lot, then you totally understand that phrase!

I guess we should all be happy that we have the finances to afford our computers, the education needed to be able to converse with one another, and the patience and understanding to realize that not everyone is the same. We all have different education levels, different backgrounds, but one common goal "the love of Disney"!

Now what I really would like is a Spell Checker on this board. Because I still don't have a clue if I spell the word souveniers correct! It sure looks wrong to me, but every time I am off the computer I forget to look it up in the dictionary! But maybe there is a spell checker and I just haven't found it yet.

Here's the thing! Think universal here. Especially here in America, the land of freedom, different languages and different people. In the World of Disney punctuation and grammer are not important! What's important is that you speak from the Heart! When you are laying on your death bed you will not be thinking did I spell my words correctly or did I punctuate. You will be thinking.... Do the people I love, know I love them...Did I say what I needed to say....Did I do what I needed to do.....Will people remember me for my punctuation or the love I showed.

For those of you who can not deal with bad grammer...... move on....but first consider what is realy important!
