Does the Yachtsman Steakhouse serve a full menu at the bar?

I'm planning a trip for my b-day in March. As of now it's a solo trip, but my sister may join me. I probably won't know until the last minute. I would love to enjoy a nice dinner at YS, but I don't want to make a reservation if I don't know if it will be 1 or 2. I was thinking eating at the bar could be a good alternative. Does anyone know if they serve a full menu at the bar? TIA.

When we dined there in January, the Crew's Cup lounge allowed its patrons to order from the Yachtsman's full menu. More recently, others have reported that the Crew's Cup has its own, different menu. I don't know that this would necessarily mean that one can no longer order from the Yachtsman's menu instead, however.

I have been in the bar when people were eating Filet Mignon and potatoes. One of the apps my friend had at dinner was being eaten by someone next to me at the bar. Not sure but from what I saw on the bar menu (nachos and stuff like that)and what was being eaten I would say you can!

Thank you!

We ate there in November. The crew cup has its own lunch and dinner offerings. They do have a separate menu from Yachtsman but it wasn't the official menu and I don't believe it had everything on it (it was too small). Yes filet was on it though. Loved the crews cup, staff very friendly and comfy booths.

As noted, the Yachtsman has no bar. There is the Crews Cup Lounge next door. From several earlier threads on this subject, I gather they have SOME things from the main YSH menu, but not everything.

A# of other restaurants have bars and will let you order from the main menu--interested in any of those???

Sure if you'd like to share them! I'm staying at BCV so I just thought Yachtsman would be easy. Thanks for sharing any info.

A short walk away is Flying Fish-excellent bar and full service. Not too far from there is the Swan/Dolphin. There you can eat either at the bar in Shula's or the one in Blue Zoo. Both are excellent and again--full service.

We do these three bars each trip now, and always order a full meal.

Thanks. I'm off to look up the menus. :goodvibes

I don't think you would have any problem getting into Yachtsman without a ressie. I asked at the podium & was advised that "usually" walkins are accepted.

i also enjoyed the flying fish however everywhere on the board walk is always a great dining experience.
just a short bit of advice maybe because my home resort is old key key west but the breakfast at olivia's is one of my favorite things
its filling and feels sooo much like home

just as a side note, it doesn't matter if you have 1 or 2 - the table size will be the same. I love the Crew's Cup Lounge -they have a great beer selection (for WDW, anyway)...

Currently the lounge next to Yachtsman does have it's own menu, but nothing is offered from Yachtsman menu any longer. They serve from 12-2 apps only, then 2pm -12am apps and burgers and a varied menu. No Dining Plan options or children's menu available. They do accept the Tables in Wonderland discount.
No reservatios accepted and seating is first come first serve. You may have to wait for a table during busy weekends and holidays and after 9:30 pm, as most other restaurants are closed in The Yacht Club resort at that time of night.:sail:
