So far it is going to rain the first 3 days we are going to be at Disney!!!
Will I see some sunshine on this trip???

At this time of year, unless there is a tropical system in the vicinity, it will not rain all day. It is typical that you will have afternoon thunderstorms but they usually only last from 15 minutes to about an hour. But be prepared for some rain every afternoon, even though it's not definite.

We went in September last year. Every single day the forcast called for afternoon thunderstorms, and we never saw a drop. We're hoping our luck is the same when we get there next week!

I've said it beofre and I'll say it again: rain is your best friend in Sept. in Central FL! I think you can pretty well count on seeing plenty of sun, but it's incredibly strong this time of year. It's amazing how much more comfortable the temperature is with some cloud cover.
It's very rare that we have rain all day here. The usual pattern is clear all morning, afternoon thunderstorms, clearing in the evening.

I have been watching the forcast and see the same thing. But I do know that it normally rains just a bit every day, but also tons of sunshine after (and HOT)!

I have done WDW in the rain...no worries...I would just like a little sun :sunny:

I am hoping that the forcasts will change. We leave on Friday and hopefully by then the winds will shift and all this rain they are calling for will go elsewhere. I don't mind the afternoon 5 minute showers but I hope that that is all there is. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Last December it rained almost all day every day we were there. This weeks forecast looks like heaven. Plenty of sunshine to go around even if there are a few thunderstorms and showers along the way!! We leave first thing in the morning!

kingdomheart....can I go with you...my trip isnt getting here fast enough!!!

Sure! I'll make room for you in my carryon... I wonder if airport security would mind? :rotfl2:

don't believe any advance forecasts about florida. and you'll see plenty of sun, we got fried at the beach yesterday.

the other thing you need to remember is the sheer size of WDW, last september we were staying at all stars and we had a wonderful hot sunny day lazing by the pool before heading to MK for the eveing .... we went there and it had been raining for 2 hours already .... yet we had had nothing ......

I know that the forecast is at best an educated guess...I was just hoping to see something a little more sunny...we are staying at the contemp. So, here's to hoping it will be sunny :sunny:

It is very sunny almost every day. We do get afternoon showers but then it clears up and it is beautiful again. The last several days we haven't had any showers. Showers are widely scattered here in FL so it may be raining on one side of the park and not the other.
