Does the Pixie Dust count if you don't KNOW about it? Finally Finished :( 11/24

Loving your trip report! Don't know why it took me so long to get over here and read it!

I'm so glad to see your daughter did well with MNSSHP. I am planning a trip for next year and was wondering if she would be up for it. On our trips in the past we ALWAYS do the morning in the park and the afternoon in our room for naps. I'm thinking we may branch out next year! :)

I was going to comment on more, but I"ve already forgotten. Sheesh. I'll just have to read it again! :thumbsup2

Those are some beautiful pictures of the castle and the fireworks. It really makes me want to get a tripod. Sigh. I loved Hallowishes. I liked it even better than Wishes!

You definately need to get a tripod. It really was handy. But the nice thing was that I was able to throw it in the basket under DD's stroller when I was done! But if we didn't have a stroller, I think I would rent a locker.

What fabulous pics you got of the parade! I do believe Jafar was pointing directly at you  You really did a fantastic job of taking pics - we are glad too that you decided to go to MNSSHP.

Thank you! I didn't notice the Jafar thing until I loaded the pics on the computer.

Well I would still try to nap her. But really, between the excitement and the candy...she didn't want to leave (but boy did she sleep good that night). We are planning to go back for her bday next October JUST so we can go to MNSSHP again!

Yeah, that's when we are going back!!! DD's birthday is on Halloween! So we're going back for her birthday. I can't wait! I've already started planning our itinerary and ADRs. I need help.

DD's bday is tomorrow...which means that it falls on a Sat next year. So we are planning to go Thursday after school through Monday so the teachers won't be too mad at us for pulling her out! You registered your daughter's bday to get a free ticket right?

And it's perfectly acceptable for you to be planning already. If I didn't have the DisMeet to work on, I'd be planning it too!

I just wanted you to know that I am still here. I loved the update. I am not feeling well at all. I have bronchitis and possibly the beginning of pneumonia. Sorry for the short but sweet post.

I can't remember if I have asked you this before or not. I am wondering what kind of Tripod you have? Do you have any recommendations? I want one that is light that will fit in a decent sized backpack that will let me take pictures of the fireworks. :goodvibes

Oh no!!! Hope you are feeling better soon

I don't actually own a tripod. I borrowed the one I took with me...and I'm kinda glad that I did because there were some things that I wished I could have changed. The one I had wasn't that tall, which meant that I had to bend over the whole time. Also, it didn't have a vertical tilt so I actually just had the camera perched on the top of it for WISHES. If you look online, a lot of them have carrying cases so that would be a plus too.

to announce that my "baby" turned:

5 years old today!!!

So I will be getting ready to take a bunch of preschoolers to see HSM this afternoon! Wish me luck ;) :rotfl:

Good to know! I wouldn't have even thought about that until I was trying to use it. :goodvibes

Thank you! I have 7 kids and 4 "adults" (don't know if DH technically counts as an "adult" but since he's 32 I guess I should count him :rotfl: ). It shouldn't be too terrible since that's less than 2 a piece!
That's not bad at all. Just the loudness factor I would be worried about. ;)

Happy to report that the HSM3 bday outing was a success. The kids were awesome and other than dancing in the aisles and the LOUD sighs everytime Zac Efron came on the scene, we were good!

Ya, I'm a little nervous for the teen years if this is how she acts at 5!!

The only other annoying part was that DH never saw the first two movies so he kept asking me plot questions. Seriously, it's NOT that hard to follow!

Now that's funny!! I hope you make him watch the first two!

We're going this evening to see HSM3. I bought my tickets last week to make sure we would make it in. I don't have any preschoolers though. Just pre-teens. Not that that makes it any better. They've been planning their outfits for days!

Glad YOU thought she looked cute. This is a thread on the family board about how its should be called the Bibbidi Bobbidi Ho-Tique because they are making little girls look like prostitutes. Now, I don't know where these people live that prostitutes look like little girls with buns, tiaras, and makeup but in Boston...prostitutes definately don't look like that! But that thread made me start questioning my motherly judgement! :confused3

Um, yeah, not sure where people came up with that either. How is an updo with glitter considered being a ho? hmm.... Just had to add that. I'm working on reading the rest.

:cheer2: :cheer2: Happy Birthday Ash! :cheer2: :cheer2: Glad to hear you survived HSM3. Too funny about all the sighing. Here are my notes about the rest of your report. BTW, I can't believe you're done already! How about I send you my notes and you can finish mine??? No? Okay.

The pic of Ash with her hear over the coffee cup was so funny. Not to mention the "quiet time" comment. And I use no hair products. I had just chopped my hair off quite a bit before Disney and had planned on doing something with it each day, but I decided not to bother and just let it dry on it's own. But thanks! And don't be so hard on yourself! I didn't notice any gray and you are not old! (Although DBF tells me I am!) I loved the pic of all of you in front of spaceship earth! Also glad that I'm not the only one who gets turned around in DHS! DBF again picks on me for that! I saw another great pic in front of spaceship earth with tink in ash's hand. I also enjoyed that ride much more now. However, I knew that the pics would be superimposed onto the different scenes so I made face and stuck out my tongue. I did not realize that that same picture would make it onto that huge globe when you came off the ride for all to see! Aghh!

:rotfl2: I think your dh looks like youk also! Your Dorothy costume was fabulous! So cute! And puppy got to join in as well. We also enjoyed MNSSHP a lot this year. Last year of course it got rained out but we avoided that this year and had a blast! We are talking about maybe going next year right after Thanksgiving so we can avoid the crowds to see the Christmas decorations. But we have also pondered going in February or March and doing NYC for Christmas as I can't get enough of it! Well, I'm sad your report is done with but now you can come comment on my TR. Hopefully I can move a little faster. Take care.

Hope you had fun at HSM3. I'll load a pic of DD onto Photobucket so you can see her get up (provided by the same "mice" who made the Cindy outfit for 1900PF)

Yes, I'm guessing that these little girls don't do dance because you have to wear WAYYYY more makeup for a recital than you get at BBB.

Thanks for all the compliments. I would love to go to Disney at Christmas to see the Xmas decorations...never seem to have any extra money around that time of year though :confused3 :rotfl2: Actually we thought about going at the beginning of December next year but when they announced the free bday promotion, I bought right into it and said "let's go for a long weekend in October"...hopefully good luck strikes twice for the MNSSHP weather!

BTW, my TR isn't done. I have the last day to finish up...although it won't have many pics because I forgot to take any! Oh well!!! Good luck working on yours!!!
