Does the "never grow up" rule apply to a split stay with DDP?

If we get our DVC trade for next October we will be going for 2 weeks. ODD will turn 10 during the first week. It will most likely be a split stay between 2 resorts (unless we get lucky enough to get the same resort for 2 weeks, but even then it'll be 2 reservations). We will be doing the DDP both weeks. Will I have to pay adult price for the 2nd week since she will be 10 at the start of that reservation?

I am pretty sure you will have to pay adult prices for her since she would be 10 years old when you check in for that reservation.

They are two separate reservations so technically you would need to pay for her being 10. By checking out, you are starting over.

I would do your best to get all one reservation. If you switch resorts, that counts as a brand new reservation, which means your daughter will be considered the age she is when you check in for that reservation. For park tickets and for dining.

With our timeshare it is traded a week at a time, so that's not possible unless I happen to find 2 weeks in the same villa and a kind RCI Points rep to put it under one reservation....not sure they can even do that.

Age at check-in applies. If she is 10 when she checks into the second resort, she is 10 for that reservation.
