Does the lead guest have to show up for dining reservation?

I have a dining reservation with me as the lead guest with 3 others but I will be unable to go that evening now. Can anyone on reservation check in and some one not on reservation take my place?

Yes. There is no ID check at all. As long as the party checking in knows the ADR number & name it’s booked under, they’ll be fine.

Edit to clarify… they’ll check in under your name, not a guest’s name.

Yes, anyone else can go on the reservation as long as they check in under your name since you would be the only named person. See if you can screenshot the confirmation # to them so they have it.
