Does the Hall of President close early?

I read somewhere that when the Hall of Presidents is open it is open from 10am until 6pm. Is this true? Why isn't it open in the evening?

Yes that is true. In the peak season it will stay open later, but for the regular and slower season it closes early. The main reason is demand. They don't need to be open the entire time the park is open. They don't get a lot of people in there early in the morning or later in the evening.
