Does the GF ever do promotional offers? When should I book?

I am so psyched- I will finally be going back to the GF!!!

My parents and I are planning a long weekend trip, probably for the end of April. Before I look into booking, does anyone know if the GF ever offers any promotions that I should wait for? I figure they may well not, since they are the 'flagship' resort.

Also, how far in advance do you think I should book? I was thinking I could wait until after xmas, but I have not booked onsite in so long, I am not sure if that would be waiting too long.

DOn't know of any "site specific" promos for GF but the new general public code for Jan 1 - Feb 13 came out today, it gives a percentage off room alongwith free hopping and water parks when booking a package. THe info is on the DIS homepage.
