Tomorrow is the full "harvest" moon. My DD11 is already having major melt downs about simple things! I really love to look at the full moon, but I really REALLY hate the effect it has on my DD11.

I completely believe you! I worked in a group home and we could time Seizures by the full moon cycles!

My kids aren't usually affected, but DH is . . .I better stay clear of him about any conflicts for the next couple days . . .

I work at a highschool and usually there will be some discipline issues . . .but none so far this morning . . .keeping my fingers crossed!

My DD is special needs and I tell her teachers and therapists to beware the Full Moon, at first they didn't believe me. Last time there was a Full Moon, she also had PMS

Sometimes Mother Nature just IS NOT FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!

I just turn into a werewoman on full moons..

HAHAHA, that is what my mother says about me! :teeth:

But when I look in the mirror, I don't see it.

Isabella is exceptionally "active" during the full moon! She's so excited about tonight's harvest moon. She's singing "I see the moon and the moon sees me" all around the house. She told me she'd be a witch on a broom and fly to the moon if she could - can you tell we've been reading "3 Little Witches"?

My mom worked in an ER and in the ER they all swore that the level of violence and general weirdness increased with a full moon.

I used to answer 911 in a major city - 4pm-midnight. When things would get really 'weird', someone would usually ask if it was a full moon that night. I don't ever remember the question being asked and the answer was 'no' when the calender was checked.

Lately it seems it's the full moon, the half moon, no moon, and a crescent moon that affects her mood swings - It's just a phase right?

No kids, but it sure affects my employees. I fully expect to have at least three issues in the next couple days that make me wonder if the whole department has lost their mind.

Having said that, I love the Harvest moon!

I work in a Middle School and we can always tell if there is a full moon. The kids were really on a roll today.

I don't need to look at the calendar to see if it is a full moon. You could set your watch by my daughter's mood swings. Doesn't seem to effect boys so much, I guess they don't have as much water as girls.

The students were also way off in my class today. Usually Monday is not too bad, but today they were way off track!

I was exhausted by the time the school day was over. They also seem to act up when a snowstorm is coming

I have 5 of the little angels :p and I have been saying this for years. We can always tell when there is a full moon because they start acting up, fighting more, etc. I work in the mental health field and it seems like my client's decompensate more. I agree with not having to look at a calendar either.....I just know it then look and lo and behold it is full moon time! Of course whenever I say this people will say that there is no such thing.....

Not my kids but whoa boy does the full moon affect my husband.
I keep telling him I can gauge his moods by the moon cycles.
He really gets more aggitated as the moon gets closer to being full. He is not mean, you can just tell he is easily upset and just generally grumpy.

The way my kids act, you would think there was a full moon all the time. LOL!!! They just get it from their father.

:Pinkbounc  :Pinkbounc

Holy moly... Is that what was wrong with DD today? I need to pay attention to moon cycles.

Sometimes I think she has aspergers syndrome

Other times I think sensory integration disorder

Maybe ADD????

Maybe these things can become worse with the full moon:

Extremely clumsy...even more today
Easily frustrated...looses it.... at least 7 times since school let out

Thanks, I will pay attention to the moon cycles.

Hmmmm. maybe that it also why I'm so emotional...I thought it was PMS:p
