Does the "chair saving" go on at the adult pool too?

It seems from reading the boards that many (rude) people will save chairs at the kids' pools all day long and then not use all of them. Is this a problem at the adult pool too? DH and I are on the 3/27 Western and I don't want to have to get to the pool at the crack of dawn just to have a chair. Plus, we'd like to do the character breakfast and brunch at Palo and will get to the pool area later on those days. I hope this is not a problem.

Unfortunately chair saving goes on at all the pools. At the adult pool I have seen chairs reserved first thing in morning...don't worry though. There are stairs right there with access to Deck 10 where there are always sunbeds (loungers). When you get too hot just hop on down to the pool and cool off. I have basically given up looking for chairs on Deck 9. The view from Deck 10 is much better as well!!!

MJ we did the same thing on our 4 day Wonder cruise. On the first day of the cruise we realized we would not get a chair near the Goofy pool. Some were actually occupied but most had a towel or a book on it....

For the rest of the cruise if the kids wanted to use the pool, we'd head up to deck 10. There are a few tables right near the railing over looking the pool and it was perfect! The kids knew exactly where we were and so did the waiters!

If you have little ones this won't be an option but with older kids it
works out really well...

As for the adult pool, on our sea day there were maybe a handful of people in/near the pool. It seemed very empty. There were plenty of loungers available in the area...

We never had a problem around the adult pool. In fact at one point we were the only people in and/or around the pool. The goofy pool and mickey pool were crowded though. It might depend on the time of day -- we usually went just before dinner and it was never crowded.

Yes, I think some people set their alarm clock so they can go to the pool and put a towel and shoes on chairs, and often times they don't show up for hours. Sometimes it takes us a while to get two chairs together but eventually we get to sit next to each other. Or then there are the people who brings their kids to the adult pool to play (not in the pool) because "there are no chairs at the other pools".

Everytime I read about the saving lounge chairs issue it infuriates me! I will have absolutely no problem whatsoever removing items form a "saved" chair that has been a idle for  let's say 30 minutes. If the so called "owner" returns I'll point out the no saving pool chairs policy to them politely and go about my business. I think we need to unite against these rule breakers so things will change!! Anybody with me?;)

I'm with you Scottygirl. I don't know why people mdo this & I don't know why people allow others to do this! I personally will hav eno problem moving someones belongings if they are not present in a reasonable amount of time. I am a rule follower & have a hard time when others just refuse to follow the rules. I always put myself in other peoples shoes & I would hope others would too! Consider me part of the Revolution! Kathy ;)

You know, I've been on four cruises so far and at various stages of crowdeness and never had trouble with lounges. Even if I couldn't find one, there are always some stacked on the side and I would just take an extra one.
