If you book a specific room, like the one you are happy with, does the category level mean anything? Also what makes one room a higher category than another? If they are both verandah rooms of the same size why would one be ranked higher than another?

Location. Some classes are the same size and type but on different floors. Also some have different types of verandas so it could be a clear glass veranda or solid white veranda. I think some may also be different bathroom types. Some have the split bathroom and others do not.

Location. Mid ship rooms are more prized. As are higher decks. If a company has a product that is in demand, they can charge more for it.

Thanks. Kinda what I figured. I guess if you are happy with your room assignment and the price then it really doesn't make a difference. In the end everyone is on the same cruise with the same opportunities for experiences.

We always get better pricing because we like aft on a lower deck (like something between 6-8)
