Hi,
I thought I read about SW changing their policies and participating in airline checkin at hotel where they take your luggage to airport.

Is this true? Being a control freak I pick up my own luggage and bring on ME bus....but on the way home....less concerned about late/lost luggage....this would be great to get rid of luggage in morning.

Any special hours to do this? BTW I will be at BLT with a 7:45pm flight.
Thanks
Kerri

See the "What Participating Airlines Means" sticky thread. SW should be participating from just about every resort now - but for accuracy, THEY don't do anything. Walt Disney World does.

Southwest participates in RAC. I am not sure but all resorts may participate by now. I have used RAC at BLT and POFQ for a SW flight since August. You will need to bring your luggage to the desk before 1 or 2 PM as they are only open from early morning until then. Since you are flying out on an evening flight you will need to get the luggage there before they close. We love this service. No more lugging bags through MCO and at BLT they even printed our boarding passes for us and left them on the door in the morning!

I'll read that thanks.

I believe the only resort that does not participate in RAC is CBR due to a lack of space for the luggage. This will probably change if it has not already because I'm sure they want to offer it there as well. OKW was one of the last "holdouts" , but RAC service there began in late summer last year after renovations were completed. :)

This is great news....it was always such a pain.....SW terminal is on the other side of the airport where ME drops us off.

Will save me money in tips;)
