Just wanted to say that I had a Butterfinger cupcake for breakfast on Monday morning, and it was heavenly! Everyone in front of us was getting muffins and danishes, but that cupcake was so much more filling. (And I had a sugar rush for a few hours!) I highly recommend it!
There are many sweet treats to be had at the Writers' Studio shop just past the Sci-Fi diner. I missed that area completely, on previous trips. But, we went to the Osborne lights during our last trip and found this little teeny tiny shop on the corner, past Sci-Fi. They had a carrot cake cookie with icing that was good.
I was wondering too how they would hold up if I got some late morning and kept them with me at the park for a few hours. I did that last year, and yes, the plastic trays were kinda small for the size of the cupcakes. I split a butterfinger with my DH and got the red velvet and marble one to snack on over the next 2 days. It was freezing in December when we were there so I didn't worry about them spoiling but it will be warm when we are there this year so not sure they would be ok.
We usually don't do hoppers but I may have to add it to my "pros" list to be able to go the DHS to get some cupcakes on several days since we are staying in the Epcot area!
