Does Spectromagic change nights?

I was looking at the WDW Calendar which I know is famous for being inaccurate. It shows Spectro on Thursdays in January and then Wednesdays in February. ( in addt to Monday & Weekends) I need to make sure my Liberty Tree Tavern ADR is going to work. Any thoughts?

They can certainly change on which nights events occur.
It happens very often.

I always check multiple calendars to compare info:

There are several Disney sites and each one is different
in how you access the daily information.

There are also many non-Disney sites.

Take your Pick.

Here's how to find several listings.
I'd advise that you check back OFTEN.

This is a great site to keep BOOKMARKED for future reference.

The following site posts the stage shows, in-park and other on-property shows and their times for the CURRENT week.
(It is updated every weekend.)
The times may be "similar" for other dates as well.

Steve Soares' TIMES GUIDE Site

At the top of the page,
click on the colored links for the various parks
to open their listings and view their show times.

Be sure to check back to the site as the actual dates of your trip get closer.

So, if all the sites list Spectro on Wednesday instead of Thursday during the week we'll be there in January, can we count on that to be accurate, or could they all be relying on the same bad information?

I'm being paranoid because we're planning to go to MK Wed night just for Spectro and Wishes after spending the day away from Disney. We can't switch that to Thursday because the kids want to see Fantasmic that night. We could switch it to Monday, but we planned to avoid the parks entirely that day (MLK day) and head out to the coast. I'll just assume it's good info and confirm at the park on our first MK day. Of course, bad weather could change everything anyway ...

As the actual dates get closer, you can also call the WDW central information center at (407) WDW-INFO. When it answers, dial "0" to get an operator and ask about the dates/times.

I'd wait to do that until the dates are very close, as the info can be flawed even on the operators' listings if you are too far in advance.

I originally had our schedule working around seeing Spectro on a Wednesday in January (27th) as that's when it was scheduled, and it just recently got changed to Thursday. Now I'm reworking my schedule so we can see it on Monday (1st) instead, but since that will be the start of February I'm wondering if I should even bother changing my schedule because they'll move it from that day too. So frustrating! I just wish it would stay consistent so I could plan better and stop trying to move our ADR's around.

Those of us who keep track of such things know not to put too much faith in
locked-in schedules until about 10-14 days in advance.
(And even then, you just never know.)

The way to play the game is to check, re-check, and check again...
all the way up to your trip dates... and even WHILE you are THERE.

I feel bad for holding two sets of ADR's though - one for one possible schedule and one for the other. I only have 4 restaurants, but still. I guess I just need to be patient. We're 3 weeks out tomorrow. Hopefully a week after that I can feel relatively secure in my plans. :) It would be easier if we were park hopping, but with 3 little ones we're not.
