We are going to WDW for Christmas week. I haven't made any plans for Christmas Day yet. I really really want to be at the MK, but I have read that it is nuts. So we are thinking of going somewhere else. Does "snow" fall at MGM or EPCOT or AK on Christmas Day?

Thanks,
Angie

Snow used to fall on celebration downtown. It also fell at Disney MGM, but that was during the Osbourne light show. Since that won't be there this year, I don't know if the snow will be there.

We were at MGM after Thanksgiving in all its Christmas glory, and it snowed near the end of the day in the Streets of New York. With the Osbourn Family lights in all it's glory nearby, it was simply beautiful. It seemed so peaceful, with the Disney music everywhere. It made us feel like we were back in Wisconsin. however, the 70 degree temperature told us differently. The only downside is that we only have our memories of it. Since it was the end of the day, we had used up all of our film in our camera. However, I still had our video camera, only to find out later that it had jammed and I didn't get ANY video that entire day! :(

oh no! I am sorry for your film situation! Thanks for replying everyone!

Someone told me that they went to a MVMCP and instead of snow it was bubbles. Help is this true. I'm hoping for snow. So is my daughter.

Looks like the limits of your imagination might be tested, but if you truely believe.................. ;).

The laws of physics won't allow actual snow to fall on a typical December day in Orlando. Sorry, not even the Magic of Disney can do anything about that. However, the "snow" that Disney creates is rather convincing, and in the spirit of the season can make you just as thrilled as the real thing............................................even if it is just bubbles.

Yes, it is in fact soap bubbles blown out of machines on top of the buildings. Little tiny bubbles, but bubbles none the less. Remember Lawrence Welk? "Somebody stop the bubble machine!"

Snow to me at last years MVMCP please don't burst my bubble:wizard: :wave2:

Tell you what, next time you see snow at WDW, catch it in your hand and taste it, It ain't snow, beleive me, I found out the hard way. Yuck! :p
