I’m certain they do, although I can’t document it. I’m certain they paid for Disney buses, too, and I suspect it was contract issues (cost) that led to Swan/Dolphin/Reserve having their own buses. I sincerely doubt that Disney would provide anything to the Swan/Dolphin/Reserve guests free of charge. Swan/Dolphin/Reserve probably pay for DEEH privileges, too.
Who pays what % is not disclosed being it is internal accounting. Like all large companies each part is seperate and a lot of times a separate company with a P/l this however all merges into one for the public’s eye. DVC has the transportation $ disclosed but again just no way of knowing the overall %. I can think of 2 reasons there are no Disney buses. They were shared at one time between all 5 BW area resorts which was a nightmare. Sometime around Covid if I am correct that changed in which case S/D would have had to pay the full cost of the bus service which is the second reason… cost. While I do not know how the bus works at S/D now if it is a schedule it is far cheaper then having dedicated buses running back and forth all day. With 3 areas to service 2 parks and Disney Springs they would have to have at least 6 buses running all day. Not to mention back up buses in case of thunderstorms for at least HS maybe EPCOT you can get away with walk only but I am not sure if there has to be transportation or not.…. Another Disney Question.
