Does RSR induce motion sickness?

I am prone to motion sickness on rides that spin. Some of the turns on the video look pretty tight - is it one I should avoid? Don't want to since it looks like fun.

I am prone to motion sickness as well and have zero problems with it. It's really fun. Go for it.

I'm not sure, since I don't get motion sickness, but I often go with people who get it and it hasn't been an issue for them. My dh, friend, and sister are all unable to ride teacups and other spinny rides, Star Tours, and one of them can't take Space Mt. All are fine on Cars, though. Good luck!

Yes, I always avoid Star Tours, Space Mountain, the teacups, Flik's Flyers, and the fun wheel.

DH won't ride a lot of rides (including roller coasters, spinning rides, etc.) due to motion sickness. RSR is one of his favorite rides; it doesn't bother him.

I have issues with motion sickness on Star Tours (so I won't do that one again), but RSR and the teacups I'm fine on :)

I don't like to spin and I certainly can't handle the swinging cars on the Fun Wheel. But RSR has given me zero problems. I've also never had issues with Space or Star Tours (except for once when it was a walk-on and we went four times in a row!). For me, motion sickness is triggered by constant, repetitive motions. A dip or a turn here or there doesn't seem to bother me. Sometimes, I'll take a non-drowsy Dramamine or Bonine in the morning before going to the parks just to be sure.

I get motion sick a lot and will also watch youtube videos of rides to kind of get a gauge on them before I ride. It doesn't always work, though, since sometimes the shaky movement of the camera will make some things seem worse. I've ridden RSR several times and not gotten sick from it. But like a PP said, I tend to take a Bonine once in the morning; not for any specific ride, just to help overall.

Motion sickness bothers me some. I never feel good after I ride Space so I almost never ride it, but I can handle Star Tours just fine most of the time. I have to close my eyes during the traffic scene in Soarin', but I'm fine with the rest of the movie. I do not like spinning, even carousels bother me, so I avoid them as well as the teacups, Astro Orbiter, Dumbo, and the Golden Zephyr. All that being said, I have zero issues with RSR.

.....so here is the question, when exiting a freeway on a cloverleaf at 35 mph tight cloverleaf turn, do you experience motion sickness then????? at the age of 60 I can no longer ride RSR because of that tight turn, it gives me vertigo for about 10 mins after exiting the vehicle (and that was at night to minimize horizons) and even now I notice it on the freeway clover leaf turns at high speeds. We have one cloverleaf here in salem that can be driven at 45 mph and I tell my wife who has never experienced RSR , that is the thrill, but only faster.

Nope. I get motion sick traveling and on star tours but I have never come close to getting sick on RSR. Love RSR!

Yes, RSR triggered my motion sickness. Now, when touring the parks, I take Meclezine (an over the counter anti nausea medication that does not make me sleepy) and can ride RSR without issue.
