Does RFC in Animal Kingdom have the same special effects that DD has?

I have eaten there once but I can't remember. My daughter thinks it is just a restaurant and doesn't have any of the special effects. I know the DD has the rain, the gorilla, etc and we want to take our 3 year old to see this but I don't want to have to go all the way to DD when we are already at AK if they have some of that there, too. Can anyone help?

I have been at the AK one and yes it does have the "storm" and the animals moving and all that.

I've eaten at both locations. I think they both have the same special effects......moving animals, rain and thunder, etc.

Thanks for the info. I would rather eat there since we are going to be at AK that day but not if there wasn't anything to see.

Cool.. we just made a reservation there....we've never eaten at either and are excited!
