Does Prime Rib go on sale for Thanksgiving week?

Not everybody likes turkey... and we were invited to my BIL's house.... was thinking of bringing a nice prime rib......

I've seen it at Christmas time and New Year's (my late DH didn't like turkey or chicken and was allergic to all types of fish), but don't recall seeing it for Thanksgiving.. We would have turkey, but I would cook ham or a nice steak for him on Thanksgiving..

i just saw it in 2 different ads for next week. albertson's and winn dixie both have it for $5 something/pound. prime rib under $6/pound sounds pretty good to me!!

In my area, the cost of high end cuts of meat actually goes up around the holidays.

We have Prime Rib for Christmas. Expensive but so good, even if it is "on sale".
