Does POP host school groups?

I read somewhere that POP does not host school groups, that only the All Stars do. Does anyone know one way or another? We will be there spring break and hope not to have big groups like that.

I don't suppose there is ever really a guarantee...

We tried to book our HS team there last year for a Disney sport event and we were told "we do not book blocks of rooms at POP". Our offers were originally All Stars or CBR and then once we tried for POP they added POR. We didn't want to spend the extra money so we went with Allstars. We are returning this year in March and are booking it as early as possible, and we are going to ask again for POP.....can't hurt to ask. (one year they let us book CSR and everyone loved that)

I have been at POP 3x and never been aware of any kind of group.

I travel to WDW with a High School Marching Band every other year. We wanted to stay at POP during our upcoming trip in June 2008. Our travel agent has tried to get us into POP, but he was told that school groups are NOT booked into POP. He was told that POP occasionally hosts school groups on an "over-flow" basis.

My niece's cheerleading squad (about 30 high school girls) is staying at POP for Spring Break 2008...but they didn't book as a school, they booked as a Grand Gathering. I was helping with the booking, and it made more sense to do it this way, since they all have pre-paid park tickets that they won in a cheerleading contest. (The biggest benefit of booking as a school group is discount park tickets.) We booked 9 rooms and just requested that they be in the same building, but if they are not, it's no big deal.
