Can't remember from my last trip (stayed at PO Riverside)...thinking about trying a "value" resort next time.
I am afraid though...the atmosphere is part of what makes WDW special, but I think we'll give it a try next trip to find out.

yes, POP is one of 2 resorts that does not share with any other resort as well as has just one stop at the resort. AKL is the other.

Yes- thank goodness they have a separate bus from any of the other resorts!!! That's one of the biggest reasons we chose POP the first time we stayed there after already staying at the AS resorts. Never had much time to wait in any line for the bus which was great!!

YES YES YES !!
one of the many reasons i stay there again and again:thumbsup2
It's very nice at the end of a long day .............

Don't forget CSR, it does not share with another resort either. We have stayed at POP two or three times and the bus lines are still long due to the size of the resort. But atleast at park closing, you have your own line. The three Allstar resorts share except at MK.

CSR does not share with another resort but it has more than one stop. There are only 2 resorts that don't share as well as have only one stop. That's what the previous poster was referring to.

The bus lines may be long for POP at park closings, but i've noticed when I've stayed there the lines move quickly because they will have 2 or 3 buses loading at once.
:)

Whether All Stars shares actually varies throughout the day, even at MK. same with POFQ and POR.

The Pop Century has one bus stop area to service 2,880 rooms while each of the All-Star Resorts has its own bus stop area to service 1,920 rooms. The three bus stop areas at the All-Stars have the ability to share buses if needed as demand warrants and it has a much higher capacity for buses and for passengers.

Since the three All-Star Resorts have a total room count of 5,760, their added bus capacity makes them the bus transportation leader at WDW. They’re faster and more efficient than the Pop Century.

of course, Ludwig, just a minor point - that assumes the resorts are operating at 100% occupancy. POP does consistently operate at 95%+. not sure where all stars is, but i get the impression that music isn't as high
