I feel like I saw that they did on 1 thread, but I don't remember them being there. Granted, it's been a while since we stayed there. But I have a mom who can't do stairs, so I need to request ground floor for her if no elevators. Thanks!

As far as I know, there are elevators, but not in plain view I think, I was there two years ago and I never saw them, but then again I had a ground level floor room (for the exact reason you have...my mother is horrible with stairs with arthritis and all :sad2:)

I mean, if you wanna make it easier for your mom and yourself, request the room anyways. Couldn't hurt, right? If not, then the elevators are there for you.

Watch, with my luck, there actually AREN'T any elevators, and I would be telling all of this to you for nothing. In any case, I apologize if I end up flat out lying to you. :rotfl:

But really, if all else fails, ask a CM on the phone. That's your best bet. That or one of the many people in this lovely establishment that would know much more than I would. :cool2:

there are, I used them while carrying dinner back to the room from the floatworks

There are elevators at POFQ, I have used them.:thumbsup2

I want to add too DON"T call and ask a CM if you want to know the answer you are getting is right. It is a fact that many of them don't know the answer to all of the questions people come up with. I mean, how could they really be expected to, there are so many resorts and parks and limitless questions to be asked. Posting here is a good way to find out whatever you need to know, as I have found this group to be full of good info.:)

POFQ all buildings have elevators but not Riverside. Only some building at Riverside have them.

Excellent - thanks! She doesn't love ground floor rooms, so knowing that the elevator is an option will work nicely.

And believe me, I learned my lesson a long time ago about CMs and their lack of some kinds of knowledge. In desperation, I called the dining line a few days ago with 2 questions, and the poor guy gave me answers I already knew were wrong from these boards. :( Oh well!

Yes...to the elevators BUT they are not central in each building. They are at one end. This can make using the stairs waaaaaay easier.

With that in mind you may want to request a ground floor room...or request to be placed near the elevator.

Yes- they do. But as others stated, not in the center of the buildings. We got so sick of walking to the oppposite end to use it- we carried our stroller up and down the stairs. So i'd request it anyways because if they put you up front on the second floor like us- you have to walk to the back of the building- then up the stairs- then all the way back to the front. Gets a little old after a couple trips
