Does National have to honor quote on ressie?

I made a ressie w/National back in March(on the hopes I'd be making a trip this fall-which came true as the airfares dropped to decent amounts!). When I made the ressie, I used the Priceless code and coupon for 1 free day and the system accepted both. Now I'm looking closer at the coupon and it says it's good until Monday, but I have a return date of Tuesday for the rental car. Does National have to accept my ressie as is? Or can they give me a hard time because the coupon(in very small letters)says it's good thru Monday? How many people actually turn in the coupons when they rent? I use EA, so I don't have to go to the counter, but still have to "check-out" at the exit.

with regards to coupons, they do have to be turned in at the exit booth

since they accepted your input, you might have a case, since usually if the coupon is invalid it comes back telling you that...

best bet is to call the National help line and explain the situation to see what they say
