As you all know I am in planning mode right now and am wondering if Mythos recognizes these events and if so, what do they do?

Thanks!

Bumping up as we will be there for our anniversary as well. And an add on, does Tchoup chop?

Hey, I want to be in this group of Anniversary trips (and trips with NO KIDS)! Our Anniversary is in August, but we are celebrating it with trip in Nov. (the only time we could get away). I would also love to know if Tchoup Chop would do anything special for an anniversary? We should start a Anniversary/No Kids thread to generate ideas for romantic and fun things to do for grownups!

Welcome to the group, the more the merrier. The only club bylaws are "NO KIDS ALLOWED". We have never been anywhere without the kids so between being in Florida while its cold in NY and not having the kids for 3 days, they could feed us beans and franks at the Tchoup and it would seem special.

OH! Your first time away without the kids! You will love it! We go away every May and August for a long weekend. We are very lucky to have both sets of grandparents close by to watch the kids, and they generously offer to do it often. It is so relaxing and you really can connect with your better half. How many days are you going for? We are from New Hampshire, so we will be glad to be away from the cold too.

Anyone else that wants to join? LOL

We will start a support group for everyone..... "Parents sneaking off to Universal without Kids" LOL.....

I want to sneak away!! I am hoping for a Nov. but more probable January sneak off without the kids mini-vacation to Universal.

I need a support group. Feeling so guilty..............NOT:bounce: :Pinkbounc

Maybe a picture of a child with that round sign with a slash through it or something. Like the no smoking signs.... know what I mean? LOL...

Thats it....I'm telling the kids on you guys!:p

Good symbol. Make it a screaming child with ice cream or chocolate on his/her face and really bratty looking. Since we will be there one day earlier than you spideyhulk, we will take it upon ourselves to bar children at the gate.;)

So, have you guys come up with anything special for the anniversary thing? I would like to surprize DH with something cool, but don't know what that would be. What I find a romantic surprise might not be the same thing a man considers romantic. Any ideas from you guys? How would you like to be surprised by your wife during your anniversary trip?

Actually there will not be much in the line of surprises, we both were in on the planning for everything. The only differences will be that instead of cutting costs on eating and such, we are going to eat at the Tchoup at least once, Mythos, etc, and not worry about the costs. We also bought the HHN tickets, and I think that we will be running around too much for any surprises. I was originally going to make the entire trip a surprise and not tell my wife where we were going until we got there, but she kept telling me she was theme parked out so i wasn't sure if she would want to go. Then, when she heard the words Florida and Universal with no kids, she loved the idea.

Sounds like us. We are going to do Mythos and Tchoup Chop and Maybe Emerils. How many nights are you going down for? We are going for three nights and I'm afraid it will go by too quickly.

We are leaving Friday morning and arriving around10am and will probably do US that day and the Tchoup that night at about 8pm. We are doing IOA Saturday the 4th and HHN that night. Sunday, we will go back and cover whatever we want before getting on our flight about 7pm. I figure Sunday will be the relaxing day to hit the pool or whatever, but theres not a lot of spare time built in. One extra night would have been great but I just couldn't leave the kids that long and I want them home in their own beds Sunday night for school Monday.

in that we will be go go go as well. We are only staying one night, but doing two days of parks. Our special meal will be at Mythos and still considering Del Fino Rivera, but we may just do a couple's massage instead at the spa.

I wish my DH would try a massage with me! I know once he tried it he would love it, but I can't get him to :(

We have the extra night on Sunday because of Vetrans day - it falls on a Tuesday, so the kids have a nice four day weekend. So even after we return on Monday, we will have all of Tuesday to spend with them. So, I'm not feeling too guilty ;)

My wife was scared the first time, but fell in love with it after she felt so relaxed and it's definitely romantic!!!!

Tiger- Try it in the privacy of your home!!!! ;)

He will definitely love it!
