Does my itinerary look ok

Our first Disney trip as a family. :banana:
Whose going: Me, DH, DS (4) DS (4) and the rest of my hubbys family are meeting us in Disney too. There will be a total of 14 of us.

Here is our plans
Arrive Fri. May 2nd 12:35pm, take ME to POR Riverside and check in. Get settled in at our resort. :dance3:
Head out to MK and spend a couple hours there and then go to dinner at Crystal Palace for dinner at 6:25. After dinner make our way to Epcot to watch illuminations

May 3rd - AM: Hollywood Studios
when we are done at HS, we will head back to resort to change and shower and go to DTD. going to take the boat from POR to DTD
PM - Explore DTD and we have ressies at Captn Jacks for 7:50pm

May 4th - the rest of the family arrive -
AM - Blizzard Beach
PM - dinner ressies at Whispering Canyon 7:20

May 5th - AM hang at hotel maybe rent pontoon boat or check out the resort pools
afternoon and PM - ressies at Garden Grill @ 1:30 then spend the rest of the day and evening at EPCOT.

May 6th - all day and evening at MK. Maybe take a break in the afternoon and go nap back at the resort (we'll play it by ear)

May 7th - free day - maybe Typhoon Lagoon or swim at the resort. Then hit one of the park in the late afternoon and spend the evening at which ever one we choose.

May 8th - Animal Kingdom
AM - ressies at Tusker House @ 8:35 then spend the rest of the morning and part of the afternoon at AK
PM - ?

May 9th - departure day (booohooo) :sad2: our plane leaves at 8:00pm
so we will spend our last day at MK



so what do you guys think. Did I forget any (must do's or must sees)

It sounds like a nice plan. Nice to see down time built in, and it seems like you are making a good sweep of the parks and highlights. Everyone is different - especially traveling with those outside your immediate family. I'd say take it easy, and go with the flo as much as you can.

Your DS should definitely "enjoy" the first trip - just watch his energy level and interest. If he loses interest, it could put a damper on the trip for the rest of the group. We always tried to let our boys "lead" when they were younger, and now our daughter gets that chance...for example, we don't "push" the characters if they don't seem interested - but if they are, great. Same with some attractions - but at the same time, we don't cater to their every whim, either.

Regardless, have fun! :thumbsup2 I wish it was us... we won't be back until October... too long to wait. :rotfl:

Yeah, I think we will need the down time. But I like your advise to let the kids "lead". I dont want to over do it. thanks for that advice.
