Does my budget look right?

We're going from Feb 2-6
It'll be my dd 3, ds 5, myself, and dh.

We'll be staying at the All star Movies resort.

I'm not really sure what the food cost will be like. We plan to have breakfast in our room. But, we plan to pay for snacks, fast food lunch, and sit down dinners. That might be too much lol for souvenirs but I can also use whatevers left as emergency funds or something.

Unless you drive a huge gas guzzler you gas estimate seems high. I drive from Ohio, 2000 round trip, and the highest my gas has been is $175. That's driving a minivan.

Your food budget looks to be about $90/day which should be more than enough and allow you to have a character meal if you would like. Check out www.allearsnet.com for full restaurant menus. This can help give you a better idea about actual food costs. Kids meals usually run around $4-5 for counter service and a little higher for sit down restaurants.

It's always better to have more than to not have enough!

I agree with bobcat - your gas estimate is way high. We just drove roundtrip from NJ and gas was about $200 for the week.

As for food, remember when looking at menus that you can do a fair amount of sharing with 4 people, 2 of whom are little kids. You don't need 4 meals to feed 4 people at Disney.

I think that you are definitely high on gas and souvenirs is up to you. You can buy a lot for a lot less. Make sure that you go to the World of Disney located in Downtown Disney.
