Does Monsieur Paul accept Disney gift cards?

I have talked to 2 different CMs-one via chat and the other by phone to Disney Dining. One told me they do accept Disney gift cards but the other said that they do not.

Can anyone who has recently successfully paid with Disney gift cards at Monsieur Paul confirm that they do accept them currently?

The last time we ate at Monsieur Paul we had gift cards too and did exactly what @Jadyreen1282 recommended. We paid for the bill via MagicBand and then the next morning when to Guest Services as the resort and used the gift card (that someone gave us for the purpose of eating at Monsieur Paul) to pay off Monsieur Paul's bill.

I am guessing the restaurant probably does but the way described above is less confusing for them and easier all around.
