Does Magical Express website usually work for DVC?

I have not been able to get the Magical Express website to work for the past few weeks. My reservation number is on the ME website, but the "Resort" field will not work.

Is this common or does this website typically work?

I know I can call but I am just wondering if this is the norm or not.
 
Are you using the link from the member website? If you are, the resort should already be populated based on the reseration.

Yes, all the info is populated except the Resort. There is nothing in the Resort box that can be selected.

I just tried with our upcoming reservations and the resort populates correctly from the reservation. I guess you need to call MS.
 

I just submitted our request yesterday and everything worked ok.

You don't by chance have more than one membership do you? I have 3 and when I went to do DME, I realized I had the wrong membership chosen and it wasn't picking up the October reservation because it was on the other one. Once I did that, it worked without issues.

I have been having the same issue the past few weeks. The reservation # drop down is available toselect the reservation (when there are multuple), but the resort selection is grayed out. But when I try to submit the request, it wouldn't let me citing an error that resort needs to be selected.

I have to call in to MS, but I haven't come across anyone with the issue until your post now.

For the FIFTH time.... Dear wife and I had to change NOV 2018 flight numbers :(. DELTA seems to have a problem with this, as they remain confussed. We did so, got a DVC EMAIL ping.

Of note? I can't find a similar stunning service on the MAIN WDW Website.

For us? DVC remains the PREMIUM, PERFORMING, group :).
 
I've been having the same issue with it since July. I finally just used the chat option on the website and they were able to book the bus for us.
 
I also had an issue trying to reserve Express for my own reservation. It automatically picked up the reservation PRIOR, which is for my DD/DIL. No matter what I did, I couldn't switch it. I ended up having to call.
 
DVC is supposed to book through MS due to Disney's internal accounting requirements for ME payments. The form that we fill out is emailed to MS who inputs the info in the DME reservation system, then the MS CM is supposed to email you back the confirmation. Once the reservation is established through MS, changes and verifications can be made with DME directly. Their phone number is (866) 599-0951.

Sorry had problems with DME on website so just use MS on phone. They are always great never had a problem.

MS advised that I use the regular cash reservation DME website to book. I did email MS to see if they can fix my account, if I do not hear in a few days I will follow up with MS and make sure the info that I submitted through the DME system for cash reservations came through properly.

My understanding is that it will work but DVC bookings should not use it because of accounting reasons. For the DME contractor to be paid, DME reservations should be placed through MS first.

THIS. The one great value of the MS Website is that their policy dictates positive feedback on Member Requests.

Sandy and I are also waiting - as Delta changed our flight numbers for the FIFTH TIME, on one reservation :(. I HATE inflicting this stuff on WDW, or MEARS... :(.
