Does Magical Express run all night?

We have Pop Century booked from November 25th. The flights I’ve booked don’t have us landing in Orlando until just after 11pm. Will we still be able to get Magical Express? (Happy to collect our own luggage and take it in the bus with us, I know that is a requirement for later arrivals)

Also, we are coming from overseas so they don’t send out our magic bands. Is a check in counter at Pop going to be open when we arrive?

Yes, there will be a DME bus for you and yes, there will be someone at the desk at the resort when you arrive.

Late night arrivals aren't unusual

Yes, but it is not always so Express at night.

We got lucky two weeks ago. We got to the DME area around 1 am and walked onto our bus two minutes later. Initially, the driver said he had to wait 20 minutes, but the dispatcher gave him the go-ahead to leave after 10 minutes. Another bonus was that there was only one other family on the bus with us and they were going to the same resort.

I hope we get as lucky. I’m already wondering if we made a mistake with the flights since they include a 6 hour layover in Houston and we will have our 3 year old with us! I suspect the next day will be a lot of resting and not so much park time.

You may want to keep in mind that late at night food options will be very limited. At the airport and at your resort. You may want one carry on bag to be things like granola bars and peanut butter cracker packages. Things to tide you over until the next morning. Or you could order a pizza and have it delivered.

For your layover depending on you airline you may want to see if you can pay get a day pass for their club for each of you, see what the airline offers in the club. But depending on the price/availability in the club you may want to see about getting a room at the airport hotel, not sure if that airport has one connected to it as that makes it easier. Even though you would have to go through security again it might be worth it as it would give you comfortable place to lay down, especially for the 3yo, and a place to take a shower. Sometime the airport hotels have day rates for people that need a room in the middle of the day.

As you still have sometime if the airline changes your flight in the meantime you may be able to re-book to better flight times at no charge.
