Hi - For those of you who have stayed in a 'limited view' room at the Swan - What can I expect? Thanks in advance for your help?

I really don't know what they called our view. I think maybe standard. We were there in aug. and got the govt. rate. We were on the 10th floor right by the elevator. Saved alot of walking after a long day in the parks. We really dont spend alot of time in the room so I dont care too much about the room. We did not have a balcony. Our view was o.k. It was looking across to the dolphin I think. We actually saw the back of one of the big clam shells and guess what there is like a big airconditioning unit behind it. We could see some fireworks through the dolphin windows. We were not really interested anyway. The ds just wanted to rest and watch t.v. I cant remember what wing/side we were on but after you went into the lobby from the front enterance we beared to the left. If you are spg member I think you can ask for an upgrade. We chose airline miles. I think dh said you could get miles or starwood points.

I am almost guessing it might be one of the lower level rooms? There your view would be restricted - you would not be able to see over the Boardwalk buildings towards Spaceship Earth or out towards the Fantasmic Auditorium because of foliage, etc.

Thanks for the info. We booked using gov employee rate and the SPG site says limited view. Oh well, even if we end up looking at the parking lot at least it is a Disney parking lot.:D
