Does Lego Technics ever go on sale?

Wondering if there will be sales, like BOGO 50% off before Christmas? Trying to get a head start on shopping...

The week of Nov.11-17 Toys R Us has the airplane one pictured as one of the Lego sets that are 25% off. Their regular price of Legos is usually higher than other retailers so it isn't a true 25% off though.
The last few B1G1 % off sales they ran, Technics were excluded. I don't know if that will change during the holiday shopping season though.
