I think the poster was referring to the no soda policy in the WWOHP at Universal Studios. Also the chocolate frogs there are made of a lesser "chocolate" that holds up better in the heat. Whether any of this has anything to do with JK herself is beyond me, but I figured I'd clear that up for you.
I had no idea WWOHP had a no-soda policy. Given Americans' addiction to the sugary drinks, it has to be a no-sale of soda in that area policy . . . but that wouldn't stop people from bringing in a soda that was purchased in another part of the park. I've not been there yet, but I'd assume that they'd sell pumpking juice in WWOHP.

As other posters mentioned, you can see illustrations, but they will be in black and white.
I would suggest that besides reading on the Kindle, you also download the Kindle for PC. That way you can also pull up illustrations on your PC and see them in a larger format. The application is free and as long as the Kindle for PC account is registered to the same Amazon account as your Kindle, you can share books freely.
I've never actually seen a bootleg video, but the type on my Harry Potter Kindle books is just like all my other books. It's adjustable up and down, but there are typos here and there. Now that I think about it, I don't have illustrations in those books.
