Does it matter whose name is on the DME tag?

My son set up the DME reservation for my daughter and I. He received extra tags in his name that he doesn't need. My daughter and I need two each. Can we use his tags rather than call DME for more. I'm assuming that as long as the hotel is right we will be ok. Is that right?

Nope. All that matters is the barcode and that the barcode is tied to YOUR reservation.
