Does it help to call?

I haven't been on here, since they started taking online ressies. Today, I thought I'd give online booking a try for a day visit in Aug. Neither of the restaurants I was hoping to book are one of the most popular ones. One of them was booked completely & the other only had a 5:45 pm availability. That's too early for us. Is there a chance availability will be different, if I call? If not, I'll keep checking & hope one of them becomes available. TIA for the info. :flower3:

From what I've heard, it seems to me to be like resort availability. Some spots are only for online ADRs and some are only for phone ADRs.

Thanks :) I was able to get an ADR online today, but will try calling in the future, if I can't get one online.

When I called in to get one of my ressie #'s because I had forgotten to write it down the CM told me that they see the same info that we do when we check on-line. It seems to me that they are able to look at several hours at a time instead of the 1hr limit we are given.

My experience...calling helps if it's a savvy CM. My CM seemed to have multiple ways to look, whereas we have only one way to go on line.
