I work in a long term care facility for seniors in the Dietary department. Some of those folks complain about the slightest thing...there's too much food on the plate, not enough potatoes, not hot enough, too hot, dessert portion is too small, food to bland, food too spicy. I could go on.
My point is I work in a service industry. Disney is a service provider, different industry, but non the less, a service industry. And you are going to get those people who complain about any little detail, however minute. To you or I it might seem ridiculous, but to them it is important, why? Only they know.
So no I am not the least bit surprised when people complain about Disney stuff. I have stopped trying to understand the "why" of it and just kind of figure it takes all kinds and leave it at that.
Besides, as pps have stated, the less people enraptured with Disney, the less crowded it will be for those of us who are![]()
Exactly! I've worked in customer service for 6 years now and I've come across some customers that have some ricidulous claims. As you stated, now its second nature, you just block it out and move on in your life.
Whether I was bagging groceries at age of 18 and the same old lady every Sunday wanted me to not even touch the bread but have the cashier hand it back to her to hold on to or a client in the mobile DJ company mad because I played a song that everyone enjoyed that night.
