There have been a couple of times there have been flurries - but the ground & foliage never gets cold enough for it to stick. However....you will see puddles turn to ice & will get ice on your windows.
We've been at the Fort when we've been advised to leave a faucet trickling so the plumbing in the RV doesn't freeze. We've also had that happen when staying in the cabins.
Contrary to popular belief, it does drop below freezing in central Florida! Our farmers are going to really be scrambling to keep from losing their crops over the next 3-4 days.
Today's high was 49 - or approx 15 degrees below normal. Tonight it's supposed to get in the low 20's. This morning at 5:30a it was 27 degrees at my house - just 25 miles west of Ft.W. I grew up in Buffalo, and I don't care where you're from, 27 degrees is cold.
I've lived my entire 38 years in Florida (St. Pete) and in that time I've seen snow only once. It was back in the 70's and there were very light flurries that left a white dusting on the grass and cars that melted by 9AM. There have been a few times where ice formed on puddles, over wet plants or once in a bucket. I do recall going to Epcot Center in January 1985 and the water fountain didn't work due to ice blocking the faucet, but I've never seen or heard of snow in Orlando.

Also in Pinellas, in 1989 it snowed. I remember being in the back of mom's minivan in the parking lot of a nearby Kash'n'Karry, and seeing it land on the windows. That was the last time it snowed in Pinellas.

19 degrees here in Buffalo NY - you know you miss it!!!
Hree's hoping it warms up a bit in Orlando we arrive in 11 days.
I've lived in Central Florida my entire life (less than 50 years) and I've seen it snow 4 times. It melts within a minute after it hit the ground, but boy it sure was fun!!!
I cannot wait to leave in less than a month and go where the snow does not stick to the ground!!!!!
My luck I will bring it.
The news said all of us at the Fort and in Orlando may see snow on Friday night
