An inch or so of snow on the ground here this morning. Cars need to be scraped. Never thought we'd need to shovel snow for trick or treaters, but I guess that's what we'll be doing today. Numbers will be down, but I'm sure we'll still have plenty of them.

Halloween in northern NJ was cancelled for kids in 2011and 2012.
2011 we had a major icing that threatened to bring down power lines and tree limbs on trick-or-treaters.
2012 Hurricane Sandy. That one came with 12 days of no power or water for us.

2019 today it's raining. I'll take it!

We have about 4 inches of snow and counting here in Wisconsin today. I was thinking today that I wish Halloween was in September here because while snow is rare, it’s typically freezing (low 40s) on Halloween and all costumes need to be planned to fit over a winter coat with hats and mittens.

Our town has a trick or treat event in our historic downtown. We always go but are skipping this year due to snow and temps in the 20s. We are opting for trick or treat indoors at a loca senior living community.

I'm in Arizona and don't ever remember a rainy Halloween. Now sometimes you can't wear the costumes from the stores because they are too hot!

Here we had 45mph wind gusts, cold, and drizzles. Worst Halloween yet. I was so excited to have out own home because decorations and Halloween, every year since has been terrible.
