Does International Drive have sidewalks?

I've heard that the traffic there is horrible, but we have to stay off-site for one night, and if we stay there, we'll be near outlets and Friendlys. So can we walk there, are there sidewalks so we can avoid fighting the traffic? Or is the traffic not that bad? And anyone have any recommendations for hotels on I-drive?

We stayed at the Quality Inn Plaza 9000 International Drive http://www.qualityinn-orlando.com/ last April and we are going to stay there again this April 2009 for 8 nights, I got a rate of $49.00 per night for 2 adults and one child using the "Orlando Magic Card" This card is free and can save you alot of $$$$ http://www.orlandoinfo.com/magicard/ .
I like this hotel it's a great price the hotel is very clean the staff was friendly and was very helpful. Great pools.
There are sidewalks on International Drive and I have walked them , I suggest that you cross at the cross walks only there is alot of traffic but if you cross at the cross walk it's safer and easier.
