My family is not really into this fireworks show since we've seen it tons of times now. Will it be different for the holiday season or can I plan to leave it out?

Check the Disney website. I think it says there will be a special Holiday finale at Illuminations.

There is supposed to be a holiday tag at the end of the show. I believe I read that it will be 3-4 minutes long. I usually don't stick around to see Illuminations any more ( I still miss the original version), but this year, if we're done with our 7:20 PS at Le Cellier, we'll definitely watch it for the finale.

I usually skip all fireworks..even the NY 4th of July.

BUT

There is nothing like the MK "WISHES" fireworks!!!

Its about 20 minutes long..with J.Cricket narrating + more characters voices and shapes of hearts..etc bursting in the sky and the most magnificent music!!::yes:: ::yes::

IMHO.......It is not to be missed!!!!!

Thanks for the replies. We have the CPP for the 8:15 showing on Christmas night so I figure we'll be getting out right about the time Illuminations begins so we'll probably end up seeing it that night.

We have NO intention of missing Wishes. We're scheduled to be in MK twice and even have a Wishes cruise scheduled for Christmas eve. This show is new for us and we haven't even watched any of the available video clips of it as we don't want to even suspect what is coming, lol. Can't wait for this one!!!

Further to the update below, the Holiday Tag will begin right after the current show, with Walter Cronkite narrating the "Let There Be Peace On Earth" finale from the old Holiday Illuminations show. The set lasts around 4 minutes and uses around 800 pyro elements. The first performance is currently scheduled for November 26 2004, running every night for the Christmas season.
